  • A&E Network’s “Flipping San Diego” Features Simonton Windows and Doors

    ​COLUMBUS, OHIO – The popular A&E Network show “Flipping San Diego” is featuring Simonton replacement vinyl windows and doors in four different episodes scheduled to air in July and August 2013. The show features contractor Chief Denney transforming older homes and then working with the homeowners to “flip” the houses for sale.

    The television show airs on Saturdays at noon (EST) on A&E Network and features the renovation and selling of homes in the San Diego area. For the first episode, airing July 20th and entitled “House of Horrors,” featured 11 Simonton windows that were installed in a 1957 low-rise home.

    On Saturday, July 27th, the episode “Critter House” included two Simonton contemporary doors and a variety of Simonton Casement windows that are used in every room of the “flipped” home. Saturday, August 10th focuses on the Upas Street home where energy-efficient Simonton vinyl windows and doors were used to turn a shoebox-sized 1916 California bungalow into a dream home.

    Simonton’s product coverage concludes with the August 16th episode focused on the Wilson Avenue project. Twenty-one ENERGY STAR® qualified windows were installed in this home including Simonton Single Hung, Picture and Slider windows with chocolate exteriors.
